Moving house needs to be prepared…To avoid any unwelcome surprises the day you move into your new accommodation, there’s only one thing to do: plan ahead!

To make sure you don’t forget anything and so you can move in smoothly, here are a few tips to keep in mind.

ARPEJ makes everything easy!

ARPEJ residences are designed to make your everyday life easier. Just bring your luggage, our accommodation is fully-equipped! It’s comfortable and functional and you’ll feel totally at home as soon as you arrive.

So, the day you move, you just need to do one car trip to bring all your personal belongings.

We advise you to choose a suitable time slot so as not to disturb your neighbours too much.

Fully-equipped accommodation

When you move into your accommodation, just bring your personal belongings and, if you fancy, a few items to add a personal touch (we’re sure you will!) Each accommodation is equipped with:

• A bathroom
• A kitchenette
• A fridge
• A TV socket
• An interphone
• Furniture (desk, bed with mattress, table, stools and various storage spaces)

Some residences can lend you equipment on request, such as vacuum cleaners, irons and ironing boards, etc. To be sure the equipment you need is available, please contact the Staff.

To avoid any unwelcome surprises at the end of the month, our rent includes:

A few formalities to be taken care of

The day you arrive, an inventory has to be done. This is a process drawn up between the tenant and the residence, which describes the accommodation when you enter and when you leave. It is drafted as document in two original copies (one for the tenant and one for the residence). If you cannot be present for the inventory, you may empower a person to do it on your behalf; in this case, you must grant a proxy to the person concerned who must be present for the inventory and bring their ID with them.
